The Hong Kong APLF Leather Fair concluded on March 21, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, following several days of exhibition and meaningful exchanges. Compared to its previous edition four years ago, this exhibition showcased a grander scale and a more spectacular atmosphere. The event garnered support from over 20 global associations and attracted participation from more than 800 exhibitors worldwide. Together, they showcased the latest trends and cutting-edge technologies in the leather industry. The exhibition encompassed a comprehensive range of displays, featuring leather raw materials, products, as well as leather processing techniques and equipment, providing a deep and thorough understanding of the field. This event injected fresh vitality and inspiration into the global leather industry, setting the stage for its continued growth and innovation.

Creative Project

The Creative Projects exhibition area featured student works from our interdisciplinary collaboration with the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. This cross-disciplinary partnership not only exemplifies the group’s unwavering dedication to sustainable development but also seeks to ignite the boundless creativity of the younger generation while fostering their awareness and comprehension of sustainable practices. It establishes a strong foundation for shaping a brighter future.

Additionally, the wide range of special effects adds unique charm and personality to leather products, leaving visitors with a profound impression of the exceptional qualities showcased.

Our digital color library has received enthusiastic recognition from numerous designers. This user-friendly tool provides designers with a seamless and efficient means of selecting and coordinating colors, elevating their work efficiency. Moreover, it grants designers greater flexibility and freedom in color choices, leading to an influx of inspiration and creativity in their creative work.

Lorence

Lorence’s exhibited bio-based leather cleaner at the trade show not only boasts remarkable effectiveness in stain and grease removal but also stands out for its predominant use of renewable bio-based materials, ensuring complete biodegradability. Attendees were highly impressed by the product’s innovation and practicality.

Lorence’s professional team demonstrated their exceptional skills and showcased Lorence’s premium products, revitalizing the leather with a distinct radiance. Each detail reflects Lorence’s relentless pursuit of product quality and deep reverence for traditional craftsmanship.

Technical Control

Technical Control’s BIO-PU Bio-based Polyurethane products stand out as one of the notable highlights within the exhibition. Renowned for its outstanding performance, this series effectively caters to the compounding needs of various coating industries while garnering significant attention for its impressive 68% bio-based content. Derived from renewable carbon sources and non-fossil raw materials, these products exhibit a considerably reduced carbon footprint and minimal environmental impact. Technical Control’s BIO-PU series sets a compelling example of environmental consciousness and high efficiency, serving as a noteworthy benchmark within the industry.
