Nubuck & Suede Finishing

With regard to the features of nubuck and suede, Lorence has launched two series of specialty products to improve the texture and practicality of nubuck and suede leather in the after finishing process of leather products.

Nubuck and Suede Reviver NR407 Series

The most common problem found after shoe assemblage is color differences. It is always necessary to embellish the leather, to adjust the color and hand feel at the last step of shoemaking.

Lorence Nubuck and Suede Reviver is a colorless, water-based emulsion that helps to uniform the color differences in finished leather goods. The nubuck and suede shoes after treatment are granted with a soft velvet feel. If used on light-colored leather, it is recommended to dilute it with water at a ratio of 1:1.

You can apply a colored suede reviver if you would change the color of nubuck and suede, by which to create a stylish effect in the use of different colors.

Water-based Water Repellent LOR005

Due to its textured nature without covered coating, nubuck and suede are excellent in the aspect of breathability. However, its nature also defines the relatively weak performance in its water resistance, dust resistance and maintenance compared with other coated leather.

In order to prolong the life of nubuck and suede leather, a water-based water repellent can be used to form a protective layer on the leather surface.
