A series of Technical Control products designed for the leather industry have successfully completed the rigorous ZDHC MRSL Level 3 conformance audit, which verifies that the chemicals used in these products do not contain any substances on the ZDHC MRSL list above their respective limit values.

What is the ZDHC Program?

The ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) is an initiative launched by global brands and retailers to promote sustainability in the apparel, textile, footwear, and leather industries. Its goal is to reduce and eliminate the use and discharge of hazardous chemicals.

About ZDHC MRSL Certification

The ZDHC MRSL conformance certification has three levels: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. Level 3 is the highest level, representing the most rigorous review and indicating the greatest confidence that the chemical formulation meets the ZDHC MRSL standard.

Level 2: Product Stewardship
Fulfilling Level 1 requirements
On-site assessment of the management system

Level 3: Chemical Supplier Site visit

On-site chemical hazard assessment, including the ability to write Safety Data Sheets (SDS) according to the GHS classification and labeling system.
