Collaborating to Explore Green Innovations in Leather Craftsmanship
As the global pioneer in the development and launch of bio-based, eco-friendly edge paint, D&A Group is dedicated to the principle of “innovation driving green development”. We are committed not only to advancing the industry’s green transformation but also to fostering a new generation of sustainable design talent.
Therefore, we are proud to partner once again with the School of Fashion Accessory at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology to achieve breakthroughs in the “Leather Materials and Craftsmanship” course and explore innovative avenues in sustainable fashion.
The Perfect Fusion of Natural Inspiration and Eco-Friendly Craftsmanship
This collaboration revolves around the central theme of “building a sustainable world together,” inspired by the richness of forest ecosystems.
Students apply D&A Edge Polymer’s pioneering bio-based edge paint and Lorence’s waterborne eco-friendly dyes to reinterpret elements such as the intricate textures of mushrooms, the vibrant hues of the Rafflesia flower, and the elegant forms of cheetahs, creating innovative leather craftsmanship. This interplay between natural aesthetics and green technology not only showcases the ingenuity of biodiversity but also expands the horizons of sustainable fashion.

Applications of Innovative Eco-Friendly Materials
D&A Edge Polymer’s pioneering BIO-Circul®️ edge paint series replaces fossil-based raw materials with bio-based intermediates and has received USDA certification as a bio-based product. Lorence’s waterborne eco-friendly dyes achieve an ideal balance between vibrant color and environmental responsibility. These products leverage advanced technology designed to minimize environmental pollution and conserve resources.

During the course, students engaged in a series of design experiments utilizing these innovative materials.
