In 2021, Technical Control officially became a bluesign® SYSTEM PARTNER. As a chemical supplier, Technical Control collaborates with manufacturers, traders, and brands in textiles, leather products, and accessories to form a network of bluesign® SYSTEM PARTNERS.

The bluesign® SYSTEM PARTNER network is a global leader in evaluating textile chemicals. The bluesign® SYSTEM establishes a set of standards for chemical usage, including responsible resource utilization, effective management of hazardous materials, and the elimination of all harmful substances. It encourages partners to continuously enhance safety, optimize resource consumption processes, and reduce environmental impact throughout the chemical usage cycle.

About bluesign® APPROVED

Technical Control is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly development while advancing technological innovations. So far, several of our products have received bluesign® certification and are listed in the bluesign® FINDER, with more products expected to achieve bluesign® APPROVED accreditation in the future.

If textile components or chemical substances fully comply with bluesign® CRITERIA, they will receive the bluesign® APPROVED label. This label can only be used in conjunction with the relevant information from the producer, namely the textile manufacturer. It serves as an important symbol of transparency for textile manufacturers and/or chemical suppliers.

Requirements for Chemical Suppliers of bluesign® APPROVED Products

Chemical suppliers planning to market bluesign® APPROVED products must comply with the bluesign® CRITERIA for production facilities and the bluesign guidelines by:

Becoming a bluesign® SYSTEM PARTNER and obtaining the right to use the bluesign® APPROVED trademark.

Successfully passing the bluesign® TOOL assessment for chemical products and registering these products in the bluesign® FINDER.

Significance of Technical Control Achieving bluesign® APPROVED Accreditation

The bluesign® APPROVED label is a recognized standard in the field of sustainable chemistry. Technical Control’s certification signifies that the entire production chain, from raw material procurement to final product manufacturing, fully adheres to the bluesign® CRITERIA, which includes high standards for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) aspects. This ensures the environmental friendliness and safety of the products.

The bluesign® chemical management system not only reduces resource and energy consumption, including water and electricity, but also enhances the identification and management of risks within the supply chain. This ensures that products are completely free from harmful substances and heavy metals, leading to both cost savings and improved efficiency.

Additionally, the bluesign® APPROVED certification promotes product transparency and traceability, fostering greater consumer trust and enhancing brand reputation and market competitiveness.

As a leading chemical manufacturer, Technical Control is dedicated to sustainable development goals and actively fulfills its social responsibility in environmental protection.

In the future, Technical Control will continue to drive innovation through environmental stewardship, consistently expanding its range of bluesign® APPROVED products. We are dedicated to collaborating with bluesign® to promote sustainability and collectively protect our blue planet.
